Medieval Puppet Show
Performed from a beautifuly constructed and fully mobile wooden hand cart by puppeteers dressed in authentic medieval costume these puppet shows will delight and entertain family audiences. The puppeteers can perform fixed shows or move between different areas pushing their cart in the tradition of medieval players.
Masked Commedia
Commedia dell'arte is the origin of modern clowning and mime techniques - it's roots lie in the popular comedies and political satires performed by masked actors of the Attella region during the roman period but can be traced through from the fourteenth century peaking during the renaissance. Commedia troupes performed at outdoor events with masked actors performing as stock characters whose acrobatic and witty antics were true crowd pleasers and our performers follow in the tradition.
